Description	Virus-like Particles (VLP’s) expressing recombinant Ebola virus (EBOV) glycoprotein (GP), nucleoprotein (NP), and matrix protein (VP40). Are produced in Sf9 insect cells through infection with a recombinant baculovirus. Relevance: These VLP’s mimic Ebola virus but do not contain genetic material, thus are not infectious and make an ideal candidate as a vaccine and tool to enhance filovirus research.

Notes	After thawing, VLP’s tend to sediment to bottom of the tube and appear as aggregate pellet. Resuspend by gentle vortexing or pipetting up and down.
