Description	Liposomal histidine is designed for delivery of histidine across the cell membranes. Histidine at an internal concentration of 100 mM is encapsulated in the liposome. The external histidine concentration is 1 mM. To ensure the delivery efficiency, the lipid composition of the liposomal histidine is the same as that for a liposomal drug in clinic which is HSPC: DSPE-PEG2000: cholesterol (3:1:1, mass ratio). The average size of liposomes is about 110 nm. The PEGylated Liposomal Histidine (Catalog No. PHPC002HS) includes 2 ml of 100 mM histidine encapsulated in 7 mg/ml PEGylated liposomes. The external solution is 0.1 M NaCl.
