This protein corresponds to SARS-CoV-2 Variant B.1.1.7, also known as variant Alpha originally identified in the United Kingdom, and contains mutation N501Y. It was constructed with a C-terminal Avi-Tag followed by a His-tag (6xHis). The protein was enzymatically biotinylated using the Avi-Tag and affinity purified. HiP indicates a high purity protein (>=90% pure) and less than 10% aggregation as measured by gel filtration.
