Human NCOR2/SMRT, DAD domain, a.a. 395-489, GenBank Accession No. NM_006312, N-terminal GST-tag, MW= 39 kDa, expressed in E. coli system. Source: E. coli. Purity:> 60% by SDS-PAGE.
Background
NcoR2 , nuclear receptor corepressor, are transcriptional corepressors that play an essential role in the regulation of development and metabolism. The interaction of HDAC3 with the deacetylase activation domain , DAD, of NCOR2/SMRT is required for activation of the otherwise inert deacetylase.
