Human Bromodomain testis-specific protein, also known as BRDT, BRD6, and CT9, GenBank Accession No. NM_207189, a.a. 22 - 138 corresponding to bromodomain 1 with N-terminal His-tag, MW = 14.9 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.
host species: E. coli
Host species: E. coli
Immunogen Region
22-138
Tag
N-terminal His-tag
Formulation
50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 138 mM NaCl, 2.7 mM KCl, 0.05% Tween-20, and 10% glycerol
Species
Human
Application
Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Notes
BRDT-BD1 (400 nM) is incubated with biotinylated acetyl-histone peptide substrate (BPS #33000) as indicated in BRD assay buffer (BPS #33001) in a 10 ul reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA Ni2+ acceptor beads (Perkin Elmer) are added, followed by Alphascreen Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (Perkin Elmer). After 1 hour incubation at RT, Alphacounts are measured.
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
