Human Bromodomain containing 4, also known as BRD4, HUNK1, or MCAP, GenBank Accession No. NM_058243, a.a. 49-170 corresponding to bromodomain 1 with N-terminal His-tag, MW = 15.5 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.
host species: E. coli
Host species: E. coli
Immunogen Region
49-170
Tag
N-terminal His-tag
Formulation
40 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 1.28 uM imidazole, and 20% glycerol
Species
Human
Application
Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Notes
BRD4 is incubated with biotinylated acetyl-histone peptide substrate (BPS# 33000) in BRD assay buffer (BPS# 33001) in a 10 ul reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA Nickel Chelate Acceptor Beads (PerkinElmer) are added, followed by AlphaScreen Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (PerkinElmer). After 1 hour incubation at RT, Alphacounts are measured.
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
