Human Bromodomain containing 2, also known as BRD2, RING3 or RNF3, GenBank Accession No. NM_005104, a.a. 65 - 187 corresponding to bromodomain 1 with N-terminal His-tag, MW = 15.5 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.
host species: E. coli
Host species: E. coli
Immunogen Region
65-187
Tag
N-terminal His-tag
Formulation
45 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 124 mM NaCl, 2.4 mM KCl, and 10% glycerol.
Species
Human
Application
Useful for the study of bromodomain binding assays, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Notes
BRD2 is incubated with biotinylated acetyl-histone peptide substrate (BPS #33000) in BRD assay buffer (BPS #33001) in a 10 ul reaction for 1 hour at RT. AlphaLISA Nickel Chelate acceptor beads (PerkinElmer) are added, followed by Alphascreen Streptavidin-conjugated donor beads (PerkinElmer). After 1 hour minute incubation at RT, Alphacounts are measured.
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
