Description	Monoclonal antibody Ki88 reacts with a human nuclear antigen expressed in proliferating cells but absent in resting cells. It is expressed during all phases of the cell cycle except Go. Ki-67 antigen is a potent tool for rapid evaluation of the growth fraction of any given human cell subset. Immunostaining of Ki-67 antigen in normal tissue shows nuclear reactivity in cells of germinal centers of cortical follicles, cortical thymocytes, neck cells of gastrointestinal mucosa, and undifferentiated spermatogonia. Resting cells such as lymphocytes, monocytes, parietal cells and Paneths cells of gastrointestinal mucosa, hepatocytes, renal cells, and mature sperm cells do not stain
