The USDA research grade origin fetal bovine serum is an economical alternative to more stringently purified serums. It contains a maximum endotoxin level of 20EU/ml and a maximum hemoglobin level of 30mg/dl. This product is best suited for routine cell culture work.

This USP sterility tested product has been triple 0.1µm filtered. It has been screened for mycoplasma and viruses, and is certified to be free of bovine diarrhea virus, cytopathogenic agents, and hemoadsorbing agents.

This product is stored at -20°C, with a shelf life is 60 months. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided by making aliquots upon first thawing. Like most serum products, turbidity may occur upon thawing. This does not affect the performance of this product.
