Immortalized Human Skeletal Muscle Cells from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (RCDMD) became immortalized through conditional reprogramming by cell culture with 10% (v/v) cell-free conditioned medium (UCHT1-CM). Immortalized Human Skeletal Muscle Cells from Duchenne Musculary Dystrophy (RCDMD) are capable of expressing ionic currents when exposed to differential media. Applications of this cell line include the study of muscle physiology and the study of functional abnormalities in dystrophin-defective cells.

Use of PriCoatTMT25 Flasks (G299) or Applied Cell Extracellular Matrix (G422) is required for cell adhesion to the culture vessels. Grow cells inECM-coated culture vessels unless otherwise specified in the Propagation Requirements below.The base medium for this cell line is Prigrow IV medium available at abm, Cat. No. TM004.
