Question: | What is the difference between different bottoms? |
Answer: | The flat bottom can be used for any type of cell culture and is the most used in our daily cell culture experiments. The round bottom (U-type) is mostly used to culture suspended cells, for example, when immunology experiments need two different kinds of lymphocytes mixed culture, they need to contact each other to stimulate, the round bottom (U-type) plate can use gravity to gather cells in a small area.V-bottom (V-shaped) plate in close contact with cells, generally used for cell killing experiments, can make effective target cells close contact [can also be used round bottom (U-shaped) plate instead, after adding cells, low speed centrifugation can be done. |
Question: | What can the Edge board be used for? |
Answer: | The edge plate is our anti-evaporation plate with a feeding tank around the plate to minimize the risks associated with plate evaporation and edge effects. When filled with sterile water or medium, the surrounding groove acts as a buffer against evaporation during prolonged culture, resulting in consistent, reliable cells across the entire 96-well plate, thereby increasing productivity for cell-based assays. |
Question: | What is the difference between the colors of different boards? |
Answer: | The board with white background and black background are generally used for spontaneous fluorescence or chemiluminescence experiments, and on this basis, cells can be observed or values can be read at the bottom. |
Question: | Does the bottom plate include a cover? |
Answer: | The lid is there, the current default through the bottom plate is a white lid. |
