Glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the transfer of a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to ADP, generating ATP. Stimulates POU5F1-mediated transcriptional activation.
Specificity
Natural and recombinant Mouse Pyruvate kinase PKM
Subcellular Location
Cytoplasm Nucleus
Detection Range
0.78-50U/mL
Entryname
KPYM_MOUSE
Linearity
The linearity of the kit was assayed by testing samples spiked with appropriate concentration of ACE and their serial dilutions. The results were demonstrated by the percentage of calculated concentration to the expected.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Intra-Assay CV: ≤3.9%
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):Three samples of known concentration were tested in five separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.
Inter-Assay CV: ≤7.7%
Protein Name
Pyruvate kinase PKM
Recovery
Recovery was determined by spiking various levels of ACE into serum and plasma .
Monomer and homotetramer. Exists as a monomer in the absence of fructose 1,6 bi-phosphate (FBP), and reversibly associates to form a homotetramer in the presence of FBP. The monomeric form binds T3. Tetramer formation induces pyruvate kinase activity. Interacts with HERC1, POU5F1 and PML.
