Description	pAAVdual-CK8e-EGFP is used to produce AAV-CK8e-EGFP virus using AAVnerGene s novel AAVdual production system. In this plasmid, the regular single strand AAV genome with a CK8e promoter and an EGFP reporter is cloned into our novel Ad helper plasmid, mini-pHelper. AAV-CK8e-EGFP viruses can be generated by co-transfection of this plasmid with regular AAV helper (pRCap) plasmids, carrying AAV2 rep gene and different cap genes, without adding additional Ad helper plasmid to supply E2A, E4orf6 and VA RNA functions. The creatine kinase 8 promoter (CK8e) is a muscle-specific regulatory element derived from the muscle creatine kinase (MCK) gene. This promoter is designed to drive gene expression specifically in muscle tissues, making it particularly useful in studies and applications related to muscle function, gene therapy for muscle-related diseases, and the expression of gene editing components in muscle cells.
