Description	sNF94.3 cells were derived from a neurofibromatosis type 1 tumor of a female human. Intraneurolal injection of this cell line established a successful and slow growing tumor, which disrupted the host nerve. There is a high physical and histological resemblance between this cell line and plexiform neurofibromas. This model may be used for further investigation of plexiform neurofibroma tumorigenesis and relevant therapeutic treatment for this malignancy.
