Description	PTEN Stable Knockout MEF Cell Line were established via the 3T9 protocol and the expression of PTEN was knocked out. MEF cells were derived from wild-type mouse with stable expression of PTEN. PTEN (Phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome 10) is a tumor suppressor gene and when mutated or deleted have been observed in primary human cancers. The PTEN Stable MEF Cell Line (available at abm; Cat. No. T6180) may be used alongside with the PTEN Stable Knockout MEF Cell Line to study PTEN and it's association with cancer biology and prognosis.
