Description	Fusing a kinase domain to a homodimerization domain such as the PNT domain of ETV6 can result in activated kinase. The ITK Stable Ba/F3 Cell Line expresses activated ITK tyrosine kinase that is linked to a GFP reporter (GFP-ETV6-ITK in MSCV-puro). Even though this cell line expresses activated tyrosine, it is non-transforming, meaning that the cells still require IL-3 to grow.ITK is a regulator of both conventional T and unconventional NKT cell development and function. This cell line is valuable to study the functions of the ITK tyrosine kinase.
